Family Support Group

We understand that when a person is engaged in problematic substance abuse that this can sometimes have a devasting affect on other family members and loved ones. 

A peer led Family Support Group meets here at St Dominic’s Community Response Project every Tuesday evening from 7.00pm to 9.30 pm.  The group consists of people who have or had similar experiences with a loved one’s substance abuse and through these shared experiences and outcomes can support you to cope and discuss possible solutions. It is a supportive and confidential place for you to share and to understand that you are not alone in what you are going through.

Contact any member of our team between 9am to 5pm on (01) 462 0624 who will answer any questions you may have about the Family Support Group and will give you the Family Support Worker details who will offer one-to-one support and prepare you to attend the family Support Group if you choose to.
